Review content:
I tried this place over the weekend after stopping in the Firebowl Cafe and deciding to leave because their AC wasn't working. I would have much rather suffered in the heat to have a better meal at a much lower price than I had at the Tokyo Steakhouse. We started with the Kani Rolls, which were not that impressive... I had the Chicken Udon and my girlfriend had a chicken and noddle plate (can't recall the name). Both had little flavor and were of the taste and quailty fo Ramen noodles... The chicken was extremly bland in both dishes. There was the nice little surprise of a free dish of ice cream for each of us after our meals, but that did not compensate for the poor taste and high price (we could have had similar dishes at the Fire Bowl Cafe for around $7-$8 a piece rather than the $12 per dish that we paid). There are much better places to go for a simialr (or better) experince in the Austin area.
