Businiess name:  Collins Ferry Auto Svc
Review by:  Susan A.
Review content:
We took our SUV to Collins Ferry after receiving a recommendation. The mechanic looked at the car, diagnosed the problem and said he could fix it. We got the car back a few days later and it was not running properly. We called the mechanic back and he said to bring it back in. We did and he determined that he had put the wrong O2 sensor on the vehicle. We also asked him to replace the brakes and rotors while he had the car. Two weeks later he still had the car and it was not running at all! We had to have the car TOWED over to University Motors. Turns out, it was just the O2 sensor the whole time; the mechanic at Collins Ferry had put the wrong parts on the car causing the spark plugs to blow. To top it all off, he charged us for replacing the rotors and brake when in all actuality Univeristy Motors said that the rotors had not been touched. We had to then pay University Motors to replace the rotors, fix the O@ sensor and spark plugs. After not having a vehicle for three weeks and spending well over $1000.00 to have a $300.00 problem fixed I would NEVER recommend this shady, lying mechanic to ANYONE!!!
