Businiess name:  Margarita Mama's

Review content:
Some friends and I went to Margarita Mama's over the Memorial Day weekend and were let down big time. It was clear to us that the place is mismanaged and doesn't care about repeat business. One friend ordered stuffed nachos from the menu but was told that they didn't have that item any longer and haven't for awhile. My girlfriend and I simply ordered chips and salsa for $3.95. There are other Tex Mex restaurants that give away chips and salsa, and for what we received, Margarita Mama's should be ashamed. The "salsa" was diced tomatoes from a can. That was it. Opening a can of diced tomatoes and pouring it in a cup is not salsa. The overriding flavor of the "salsa" was the preservatives. I had one bite and was done. A friend said the regular nachos "were not bad". My girlfriend perused the beer listings of the dozen or so selections under "On Tap". She chose the Dos Equis Amber and was told they didn't have it, that the only thing she could get in draft was Bud Light. Out of about 12 different beers they had listed, all they actually had was Bud Light? For what it's worth, the Banana Margarita I tried was good, but for $6 I expected a bigger portion. They looked like 8 oz of margarita, and this is not top shelf liquor, either. Competing places will give you double that for the price. Out of the 6 of us, the best any of us could say about our orders was that the nachos weren't bad. Everyone else was disappointed in the quality of the food. No less than 3 times did one of us order something from the menu that the waitress said they didn't have, prompting one friend to say, "Well, what DO you have?" We asked to see a manager and was left waiting for almost 10 min before we finally just left. We were told that the manager would see us when he was done fixing a computer. They have a lot more than a computer to fix, that's for sure. On our way out, we overheard another couple leaving saying, "That was terrible." We all agreed, despite their pretty views of the water.
