Businiess name:  Autozone

Review content:
Autozone is my preferred supplier for auto parts, tools, and information in Tallahassee. They offer many of the "free" services that Discount Auto Parts offers (like oil recycling, diagnostics, battery testing, "community" tools, etc). However, I find that Autozone has more informed and interested staff than other autoparts retaillers. For example, I once pulled into the Autozone because a belt had just snapped. I had neither tools or knowledge of how exactly to replace the particular belt (which required removal of the alternator). When I went in to ask to use the phone to call a tow, the gentleman at the counter said that I could easily change that belt and save at least $150 in labor. He printed out some information about my particular make/model of car, gave me step-by-step instructions, and loaned me the tools I needed from the community toolbox. I set to work, and he came out whenever the store was empty and answered my questions or helped me with loosening some of the tougher bolts. Two hours later, I had replaced the belt and was on my way. Something I could not have done without his help. I'm not saying that every expereience at AutoZone will be the same, but I have received some of the best customer service (anywhere) at the location on N Monroe. I've also found their parts to be of a higher quality than their competitor, and are usually covered by a much more extensive warranty. AutoZone is also currently working to write a free database of do it yourself instructions for hobbyists or weekend warriors. I would recommend Autozone to anyone who enjoys working on their car (whether it's repairs or upgrades).
