Businiess name:  Talula Restaurant & Bar

Review content:
We went to Talula Friday. We had an 8:30 PM dinner reservation. The restaurant does not have any parking, but does offer valet parking for $10.00. The restaurant is small and we were semi-pleased with the decor and the service, but the 70's music playing throughout the evening did little to enhance the atmosphere. The food was barely ok, but the selection very limited and there was only one dinner special from which to chose if you didn't care for any of the regular menu items; my entre of risotto was simply awful . The service was perfunctory and lacking the pacing one would expect from a restaurant of Talula's price range. Also, the waitress had told my husband that his dessert selection was not available, but then they brought out an unpalatable, melted version of the ginger sorbet he had ordered. He told the waitress it was not very good, but it remained on the bill. There are so many fine restaurants in the Miami area. I would not recommend (nor return to) Talula. It is very overpriced for what it is. Pros: South Beach Cons: food ambiance service parking
