If you are looking to get away and experience an old fashioned, quiant little town, you have to visit St. Charles, MO (located about 20 miles outside of St. Louis). We recently stayed here for a few days and had a great time. As for this hotel, I have two words for them ...LOVE YOU!! I love the nice, comfy room with the fridge and microwave, I love the FREE, did I mention FREE??!! happy hour cocktails and huge, deluxe breakfast every morning, I love the convenience (right off the Interstate) and I love that free parking right outside the door. What a nice place to stay for a low price ($80 a night) and you are about a mile away from the infamous, historic downtown St. Charles, MO which is awesome.
