Businiess name:  Painter's Tavern
Review by:  Jessica S.
Review content:
Aside from my fiance and I having our first date at Painter's, I've been coming to this restaurant for years. The eclectic food selections combined with the range of artwork on display (and for sale!) makes Painter's a winner. Over the years, it has grown in popularity. If you are looking for lighter fare, their burgers, served on a brioche rather than a plain old hamburger bun, are excellent. For heartier fare, try Painter's Californian twist on Chicken Parmigiana. If you've saved room for dessert, split a Brownie Bomber with your date. On Wednesday nights, the fabulous bartender Gary holds court in the side bar with "Organized Chaos" -- a range of cocktails, including many yummy martinis Gary developed recipes for himself, with tips and a portion of proceeds going to the Hospice of Orange and Sullivan counties.
