Review content:
Can Dunkin Donuts be successful without upgrading their menu's of coffees. You can't go anywhere today without seeing Latte's and specialty coffee drinks advertized at any coffee house. Dunkin Donuts has jumped on the bandwagon and now offers a variety of upscale coffee drinks.
What I want to know is why are the owners of these Dunkin Donut Shops messing with perfection. Many customers and donut connosueirs want to stop in and order a fresh cup of regular of decafe and a warm out of the ovens cream filled pastry.
I liked the fact that you use to be able to take the kids out for a Sunday drive and stop at DD's for a plain cup of coffee while the kids had sodas or milk and stood licking their lips at the overstocked donut racks and displays trying to decide what tasty treat to order for their snack.
A visit to Dunkin Donuts was always topped off by a purchase of a dozen freshly made donuts to take on home for an added treat.
Now adays Dunkin Donuts caters to College Age and Adult customers with a menu to match.
The price of a dozen donuts has increased three fold while the donuts get smaller.
Gone are the days when you knew what you would order when you went in to Dunkin Donuts.
Now you have a nervous breakdown trying to decide which mochadochaorangeflavored coffee drink your going to choose.
Any day now I am waiting for a Dunkin Donuts waitress to say to me when I order a decafe with sugar and cream that she never heard of a decafe.
