Businiess name:  David's Bridal

Review content:
Maybe it's just the entire wedding industry. Maybe its just me. But customer service seems to be very lacking in a lot of places catering to the bride. Don't get me wrong -- they are wonderful to you as you try on dresses and all, but as soon as you want something a little special, or once you make a decision and they have your money, it goes downhill fast. I first went into David's Bridal to get a veil for my own wedding. I had already decided to go with a non-traditional dress (skirt & top, actually) but wanted a really good veil. And I knew exactly what I wanted. When I brought in the picture, and told them it has to be this style, they brought me the one in the picture, and a dozen others of every other style imaginable. It finally became clear that they didn't have anything like what I wanted, and the sales lady knew that, but she refused to just tell me that I'd have to look elsewhere. She just kept bringing those veils. Second experience has been as a bridesmaid. The dress I wanted was on backorder, so I couldn't get it. They have a normal 8-week wait on getting dresses, and this dress was on a 4 month wait. A but excessive, I think. My poor friend, getting her dress there, however, had to go in to get alterations done 2 months before the wedding. Do these people know how much your body can change in 2 months? Anyway, if you want a good selection, and you don't mind lackluster service, go to David's. They do have more of everything, and in more colors, than any other shop. Just don't expect it to get to you very quickly.
