When you love what you do for a living it's such a great feeling. Well, you can say I was one of the lucky ones. I have had the pleasure of working at some wonderful companies throughout the years. This one stands at the top of my "best of" lists. Many years ago, this rock and roll chick actually worked for a country music station. (And lived to talk about it!) I worked as a disc jockey and with the promotions and programming departments. It was awesome. To this day, US99 is one of the best stations in the country. They have great promotions, hire some pretty cool jocks and the listeners are always so friendly and down to earth. I still find myself watching the country music awards shows once in a while, and reflecting back on my glory days in radio. If you enjoy country, you can't do better than this station. Keep that Garth Brooks and Alabama coming, US99!
