Review content:
My husband often reminds me that a $5 haircut is a $5 haircut. I have had a few great haircuts here and several terrible ones, including a mullet and a Jackson 5 fro. However, the price is right, and I have curly hair that hides mistakes, so I keep coming back. The student staff is mostly female and few of them have had customer service training, so be prepared for them to ignore you and just talk to their friends while cutting and styling your hair for an hour. Few students have confidently known what to do with curly hair (cut or style), so I would not recommend getting work down here if you are African American or a have very textured or curly mane.
