I hadn't heard about this website, so when I was telling my sister what a great new place I found, she said I should review it... well, here goes. I was referred to Hush Hair Salon by a long time friend who's been to several high-end salons around the south bay; specifically Manhattan Beach.. She's been going to Hush for over a year now consistently and couldn't say enough GOOD things about it.. When I first called to make an appointment, the receptionest said that there was a cancellation for the next morning and asked if that would fit my schedule.. Yes, I said.. so, the next morning, when I walked in, I was pleased with the atmosphere and pleasantness of the salon. There was one gal that was going to Jamba Juice for the stylists, and asked me if I wanted something!! Now that's an un-expected added benefit... she also asked the other customer that was early and waiting for her stylist, so I don't think it was just for my benefit.. I don't think you'd find such friendliness at most Manhattan Beach salons.. The overall experience was perfect.. I asked about products, but wasn't pressured to buy, I asked about the ease of the cut and color once I left the salon and the stylist generously went over in detail just how to use the hair dryer for the same look that she gave me.. I would highly recommend this salon, at any time, to anyone.. I'll be back..
