I first found Janet four years ago on the internet and I couldn't have been luckier! Not only is she the greatest cat sitter (by playing and brushing and leaving notes for each day she is there, and even cleaning up spewed hairballs) but she collects the mail and waters the plants at no extra charge. She's even washed our self-waterer when we didn't have a chance before she left.
The best part about Janet is she is a caring individual. When one of our cats was very ill and dying and my partner was out of town she became a great friend who let me call her and cry and even came and checked in on the cat when I had to be at school without asking for compensation, just out the kindness of her heart.
Janet's great, her fees are super-reasonable, and when she's not available she has a great substitute who comes. I am never worried when we leave town and sometimes I think the cats like her more than us. Highly recommended for the Logan Square area.
