Businiess name:  City Limits Diner

Review content:
City Limits is a diner style restaurant that has three locations (2 in Westchester and 1 in Boston). More than just a diner, it is located at the busy intersection of Central Avenue and Route 119 in White Plains. City Limits is a popular spot for locals--and is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night. Here's what I like about it. The menu is large but there are items which are consistently good. Specials change daily (thankfully are printed on a card inserted into the menu and at each table) and reflect a seasonal theme. For instance, during Easter you could find specials that reflect the diner's Greek influence and in the summer you can take advantage of dishes featuring vine ripened tomatoes. The menu include delicious house made soups (split pea and french onion are favorites), scrumptious salads, sandwiches & wraps, burgers, and specialty dishes featuring seafood, meats or pasta. I'm a big fan of their appetizers, especially the Middle Eastern vegetarian sampler, quesadilla, and Maryland crab cake. Wonderful salads, as well. Everything is made fresh on the premises including an array of baked items which are also available for take-out. Cakes, pies, cookies, pastries are displayed prominently in a glass case right before the cashier so you won't miss taking something home. The staff is friendly, especially at the counter and refills on soft drinks and coffee are generous. Nice. City Limits also does catering. They take food seriously here.
