Friends Automotive in Braintree is my new car repair shop since moving back to the area. I was really pleased with how the service was done and feel comfortable bringing my car there. They made and appointment for me, gave me an estimate, and my car was ready when promised. The printout they gave me detailed all work done and itemized each labor charge and part charge. Sounds elementary, but I've been thru the wringer enough times that this was a relief. I really don't like chasing down mechanics in loud, busy bays, poking my head around to drag someone away from their work. Friends Automotive made it much less painful and awkward to get my car repaired, they have a nice tidy office where you pick up and pay, and you don't feel like your in anybody's way. The charge for the repairs was fair, and my car hasn't had any problems since then and it was a few months ago.
