Review content:
Redmond Oregon hosts vacation to tourists all year round because of the variety of outdoor activities here, including everything from kayaking to horsebackrideing, skiing to fishing, biking to rock climbing, thus when I went into the REDMOND CURVES, as a returning member, I had the idea in mind of purchasing a 'pay as you go' monthly membership, at the higher rate, to get me through the winter months until the weather broke and I could get outside for all the above mentioned activities. To my surprise,
I was not welcome with open arms. Unless I was able to commit to a yearly
contract with a $50 sign up fee and subsequent monthly payment of $39/month, I was offered $199 sign up (NO JOKE) and a monthly payment of $49/month AND they are not even open Saturday or Sunday. The woman I met with even tried selling the clauses to reneg on a contract such as MOVING or MEDICAL EXCUSE to get me to sign the dotted line on a yearly contract. I do not plan on moving and I most certainly do not plan on an upcoming medical problem. I went to Anytime Fitness, also in Redmond, purchased 3 months for $139 was given a free Personal Training session by a REAL trainer and they waived the $64 sign up fee all together. Curves might want to rethink their prices for old equipment and minimal business hours! I strongly recommend shopping around before signing any papers at the Redmond CURVES.
