Businiess name:  Desperado Roller Coaster
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Most of the roller coasters in Las Vegas are small (High Roller) or have other problems (Manhattan Express). The Desperado is the closest to a decent roller coaster experience. It's big. It's fast. It's fun. Now for the downsides: 1) Many say it's uncomfortable. I agree to some extent, but I think if you ride in the very front or the very back, it's not nearly as uncomfortable as the middle. 2) It's not technically in Vegas. Well, that's true. It's a 30 minute drive from the strip. Note that you can also take a shuttle from the MGM to the outlet stores in Primm if you don't have wheels. 3) It's not always running. You should call the casino to see if it running before heading down there. It's usually open on weekends and during the summer, but may close due to weather. Pros: Fun Cons: 30 minutes from Vegas
