Okay, first off, the Apple Tree has pretty low quality items. However, that being said, they are pretty good for when you need an item that is only going to be worn once and you don't want to pay a fortune. They have a pretty large selection of formal gowns that are pretty inexpensive. Since you usually only wear a formal gown once, I would rather have one of a cheaper quality (nobody can tell by looking at it) and pay much less money. The other great thing is that they have tailoring services available, so if you do buy a formal gown, you can just have the people there hem it or take it in or whatever you need.
