Dr Kovel has been my two children's doctor since birth. He is a very caring warm doctor that is great with children. He is in a practice with 6 other doctors. They have a office in Squirrel Hill and also one in Wexford. I take my children to the one in Squirrel Hill. They are in a office building on Wilkins Avenue with parking behind the building. There waiting room is roomy and has a huge chalk board in the shape of a book on the wall for the children to draw on. They try to promote reading to your children. If there are any after hours emergency , they have a call center that will page the doctor for you and then the doctor calls back usually right away. They offer a conference call time every week day morning between 8am and 9am that you may call and talk to the doctors about any concerns that you may have about your children. I am have been with practice for over 9 years and am very pleased with their service.
