Location: Tukwila
Meal: Cup of gumbo; Half rack of pork ribs, potato salad.
Gumbo was more akin to a vegetable soup, but adequately flavored. Ribs were disappointing. Apparently uses a rub with only slight sauce. Result was flavorless and very disappointing. Potato salad lacked something...tang, maybe? It was mostly flavorless.
Service was terrific. Wait staff is friendly, warm, and made me feel comfortable. Atmosphere was earthy, warm, and comfortable. The kind of place one would like to sit and talk with friends for hours.
This is an adult atmosphere and romantic in an evening setting. I would not recommend for young children.
