Now there are lots of restaurants serving Singapore / Malaysian / Indonesian food. Straits is fine is you want Cal-fusion. But if you are looking for authentic "hawker"-style food this is it. The downside is that the prices are not at the hawker-center level (S$4 for Laksa). And if it's winter, don't sit by the door cause its cold
Pros: Authentic, S'pore Ladies Own, Lots of Parking
