Review content:
If you're looking for infant or children's clothing that's a little different than the norm, check out Naartjie Custom Kids in Stoneridge Mall. The shop is jam-packed with cute, bohemian-style garments, and an array of other more mainstream items. You'll find gauzy dresses, unique shirts, hats and more. From my observations, it seems that they cater more to little girls than boys. Regular prices are reasonable; end-of-season sale prices can be fabulous. Last year I bought my daughter a number of cardigan sweaters and turtlenecks in a variety of colors; the turtlenecks were priced at $1-2 each, down from $10-12. The clothes wash and wear well; my one caution is that you be sure to pre-wash all clothing with like colors, as the dye tends to bleed more than clothes from other places. The shop itself is small, and there isn't a lot of room for strollers, so it may be hard to go in when they're crowded. It's certainly worth a browse!
