Review content:
Green Island is a wonderful store in downtown Traverse City that filled a much needed niche. They cover "green" products--environmentally friendly--items: everything from children's clothing and soaps to bedding, candles and stationery products. I used to buy a lot of my son's clothes there because the fabrics were so wonderful. They also carry baby items like cloth diapers, which are often hard to find. The owners are incredibly friendly and are always helpful when I'm in to shop. The only drawback is the limited parking, but it is worth the walk.
