Review content:
If you need major home items, you really don't have a whole lot of choices (Lowes is better, but inconvenient). So you're stuck with a trip to the Orange Evil. Of course they never have what you're looking for (they have 20 different electric old work switch boxes, but they're out of the one you want; they have 75 different shapes of screws, except the one you need). Sometimes you get really lucky with the staff (John in appliances is great), and then sometimes you think your 90 year old spinster great aunt knows more about plumbing than the nitwit you doesn't even know what a pump is (don't even think about getting electrical help in Waltham on a Saturday morning). Watertown is a little better than Waltham, but it is still frustrating. Their paint is terrible, and Lowes has better lighting, but they do have the greatest selection of most major items. The big question is, "Why don't they sell coffee or snacks here?" The next biggest question is, "Can I shoot the voice of the self check out?"
