I went to Dr. Joseph E. Eiswert DMD for a couple of years, because of his good chairside manner and helpfulness, until I had a crown replaced on my bottom right tooth at the back of my mouth. I will not go back again! This simple procedure of crown-replacement ended up being a root-canal, then an unsolvable ache (which I still have to this day). At first, he told me not to worry, he would help me. Then when he couldn't solve the problem, he started acting as if I was an annoyance to him and his staff. So he referred me on to another doctor for a second opinion, which I haven't done as yet, because I am afraid of dentists now. I don't want anyone touching the inside of my mouth. Not even me, which makes it hard to keep up the flossing and toothbrushing. If it had not been for some sweet voice in the hallway recommending "gas" to help me through the rest of the root canal, he would have continued operating on me in this "Dentist Chair of Torture" without it. I have gone to dentists all my life, had a root canal before, wisdom teeth removed, and several crowns and fillings, and I have never felt so terrible before. I wish this wasn't so, because he is a very polite, nice man, but I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
