I'll admit it. Even though the hats are supposed to be for kids, when nobody is looking, I will put it on and wear it while munching on my fish. I'll also ring that captain's bell on my way out the door. Now THAT's cool, right? Okay...guess not.
I love this little place. When I used to go to nearby Von Steuben High School sometimes I would come here for an early dinner with my mom. I swear to you, I do not think the prices have changed in all those years! I have no clue how they can give you so much food for dirt cheap. The sampler platter rocks: shrimp, fish, chicken and those awesome crunchy things (not sure their name, but I always called them crunchy things...) and who doesn't love the hush puppies? Sometimes the service can be slow here, and they do tend to get overwhelmed when they have a long line, but for the price, who's complaining?
