i use to stay at the crowne plaza hotel whenever i needed a break or wanted to host a nice get together with friends. I would even rent out their presidential suites. the place tho is not that great for parties. the magament is really anal about noise, even in the afternoons, and overall my few experiences there aren't that good. if you want a nice place to sleep, their rooms are cool. but if you want to chill with friends, there are better places, especially cool hotels in newark (marriot).
