Review content:
The first time we went to Juan Colorado, we weren't expecting much. My husband is from San Diego and has introduced me to true Mexican food, so the thought of a Mexican restaurant that was part of a chain, didn't sound too great to us. Boy were we surprised! Both of our meals were absolutely delicious, and the chips and salsa before the meal were amazing. The salsa is so spicy. You don't even have to request it spicy, it just comes that way.
You can tell that all their ingredients are fresh and everything is made by hand. My favorite meal there is the steak fajita salad. Unlike other "taco salads" the shell isn't overly greasy, and there is more meat than lettuce. Yummy! Give this chain a chance, this is what Mexican food is supposed to taste like.
