Businiess name:  Nob Hill Foods
Review by:  Sherry W.
Review content:
For quick trips in search of that missing grocery item, be sure to hit Nob Hill Foods on Santa Rita Road. The staff is very friendly and most are quite personable; they don't hesitate to ask how you're doing or about your day. Most of them even take the time to address my toddler. I've never NOT had someone offer to help carry my groceries to my car, even when I've had just a single bag. The grocery selection is somewhat limited, but prices are comparable to other stores in the area. The store is always clean and well-organized. I never have to struggle to find what I'm looking for. There are almost never lines at checkout; in fact, there hardly ever seem to be many people at all in the store. - The location on such a busy road with no traffic light to the parking lot likely contributes to this. (And the location-factor is definitely a minus if you're shopping during rush hour, as it can be very difficult to turn out of the lot.) Given the decent prices, friendly staff and quiet atmosphere, I consider Nob Hill a diamond in Pleasanton's rough.
