Businiess name:  Sesame Seed Restaurant
Review by:  Dana D.
Review content:
It's hard for vegetarians to eat at meat-serving restaurants without worry. Is the soup made with a chicken base? Did the spatula that flipped the Angus burger also flip the veggie burger? Eating at Sesame Seed doesn't stir up thoughts like those above. The guest can be rather certain that the hummus wasn't cooked with a pork bone. The guest can also be certain that the hummus is rather tasty. Due to the nature of dinner specials, it's difficult to recommend a particular dish. Just know that neither I nor any of my guests have been disappointed with the fare. The kitschy feel of the restaurant itself, with all the antique shop finds as decoration, can be at once cozy and eccentric. The intimate nature of the setting leads to great conversation. Don't take a guest with whom you can't chat for hours because that is usually what ends up happening at Sesame Seed. Be sure not to skimp on the dessert; they usually have some great choices - especially the chocolate peanut butter pie.
