Review content:
The OB I had for my first pregnancy worked out of an office building, attached to Northridge Medical Center. So of course it was an obvoius choice for me, to birth my baby there. It was also about 5 minutes away from where we lived.
During my stay during labor and delivery, the nursing staff was very attentive. My favorite was the one who was with me during the last hours of labor. I dont' recall her name, but I believe she was from Denmark or somewhere in that region. I wrote her a thank-you note, because she was very comforting during my pain.
There are a few complaints, I had. The hospital woke me up in the middle of the night to show me videos on newborn care. I appreciate the videos, but not the ungodly hour they expected me to view them. I fell asleep, to be honest.
Generally speaking, it was a good experience, for what it was. I did get out of there as fast as I could, because I did not enjoy the constant in-and-out of people to my room. I was exhausted by the time I left.
