Review content:
Merlin's on North Ave is right by the Target. Charlie is the guy that owns it. He's for the most part no nonsense kinda guy. I am not certain though what is his highest level of truth with respect to how he runs the business. Because what is a lie to one, might be considered, "the way we do things" to another. Just in terms of the car fix industry in general or his business. First let me say it is a good place to get your muffler fixed, especially if thats what you need. I've been to the Midas across the street and have consistently got lower quotes for the same work . They do the job fast and fix what is wrong. This place can 'negotiate' a lot more. Recently I was there and was initially quoted 540$ for a job. I sensed they were trying to take on more services. When I balked, the price came down correctly to 115$. And the problem was fixed. So I mean, I dont know what to say about that. Quite frankly this could just be the way many car places run. Everyone has their moments, just go in there strong and Take responsibility for what is going on with your car and find people you can trust. Like I said though, if you know its your muffler that is messed up, this is a decent place to go.
