Review content:
My husband and I bought a house back in october. The seller's agent was Sue Terry, who we really didn't have personal contact with until Closing.
There were several occasions, however, where her actions affected our home buying process, and so I need to make some comments.
She was very hard to contact. My own agent works for the same company, in the same general area.. and yet leaving messages to get faxes about our "offers" returned, important questions answered regarding problems found during the inspection, etc.. it seemed to take forever for Ms. Terry to respond.
We had set up our home inspection for a time when my husband would be home from work. We all met up at the house, and waited for the inspectors, agents, etc. We were told that the sellers would NOT be home. Of course the first people we saw were the sellers. And when the inspectors and our own agent got there, we knocked on the door. Only to be told that the inspection had been rescheduled for the next morning- however, her agent could not have been bothered to inform us, and this wouldn't have been a good time anyway, because my husband works.
It might be that she's a great agent, but I was not pleased with the way she handled herself as the seller's agent in this case. It was frustrating, to say the least. I'm glad we got a better "buying" agent.
