Members of my family have been using this practice for their general needs for *several* years. After Dr. Greenbaum (sp?) retired, my grandfather was seen by Dr. Marek Zdarzyl. My grandfather did not find his bedside manner very appealing. There was a huge lump on his forehead between his eyes, and it was not going away. He went in to see the doctor, and came back from his visit in hysterics. The doctor did not offer any numbing agent.. he just kept pushing and trying to pop the thing like a zit. My grandfather was very elderly and probably weighed 70 lbs at the time.. not in good health, and I doubt this kind of treatment was necessary. But even worse than this, was the fact that my dad went in for back pain. It was getting worse and worse, and this same doctor said it was probably from a back injury, and that he should go through physical therapy. The pain didn't go away... this doctor finally did some more testing (chest xray), and told my dad that despite his worries, he could tell him at the least that he did NOT have cancer. Just months later, my dad was in so much pain, he was rushed to the ER. He was diagnosed very shortly thereafter with advanced stage lung cancer. And they couldnt believe his doctor (Dr. Zdarzyl) would have missed all the signs. Had he been at all concerned about the constant pain his patient was in, perhaps my dad could have been diagnosed and treated sooner. As it is, he wasn't diagnosed until 7 months before his death. I would NOT suggest this doctor to anybody.
