Review content:
Regardless of whether you sit on the dining room side, or the "booth" side, food is in abundance at Niko's, and so is taste. The fish dishes taste as if they were "caught that day", and the old time favorites like calves liver and meatloaf draw the "vintage" crowd to this well known dining establishment. You're greeted at the door by the owner, who while almost giving off that certain Santa Claus friendliness, makes you feel like an old friend. The waitresses are pleasant, and well informed of menu selections..the food is served up HOT HOT HOT..a nice touch for a place that's always full to the brim with customers. Have a pound or two of cheesecake before you leave-because that's almost a guarantee that the pieces they serve up weigh that much. Try the Pastitsio for a really delicious greek treat that will make you want to come back for more...
