To when Binghamton was in the height of grandeur..Alonzo Roberson still makes his appearance every now and then, on the staircase, and the stage of the auditorium, but he's not there to spook anyone, he's there to enjoy his home and the crowds of people that still enjoy it's finery as they did back in it's heyday when tea parties and elegant dinners were served in the great room. Experience the thrill of darkened skies lit by stars in the planetarium, and relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holidays in the Annual Christmas Tree Forest that's sponsored by local Civic groups. You'll be in awe at the magnificant furnishings, and layout of this historical home..and your curiosity will be peaked if you see Alonzo waving to you from the landing under the stained glass window..Visit this blast from the past and learn about local history within it's walls.
