Businiess name:  VCA Douglas County Animal Hospital

Review content:
Stay away from Vca Douglas County Animal Hospital! 531 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, CO They intentionally let our English bulldog die. On Sunday June 4th our dog fell and we immediately called our vet Lisa Sanborn and all we got was a recording telling us to go to a particular hospital, we couldn't even leave a message. We rushed our English bulldog into the vet hospital because she was very ill. The Vet hospital said we had to go thru our primary care to have certain tests done. When we tried to contact the vet the following morning Monday June 5th all they could say is that Lisa Sanborn would be busy with surgery and would not be able to see us until the following Monday. We begged for help over the phone. We went to another vet hospital without much assistance. After trying to get our dog in we finally found a vet where we had to drive over 50 miles to see, but it was too late, the vet said if we had gotten our dog in sooner there might have been a chance and she died Friday night June 9th right there at that vet hospital, the only appointment we had with our current vet was Monday June 12. To add insult to injury Dr. Lisa Sanborn's administrator sent a very nasty letter to my wife basically calling her a Karen and said we were not ever welcome there because of our insistence that our dog needed to be seen. We had gone there for many years with multiple pets. That is the last place anyone should EVER send any animal to unless you want them dead! They could careless how animals are treated and I will NEVER forgive them for how they treated us!
