Four Winds used to be one of the top preschools in the area. In the last few years, it has gone downhill very quickly. The owner is never at the school and is almost impossible to get a response from. She will promise you the world but never delivers on anything. Plan on waiting months for any statements or documents that you may need. The director does not know how to deal with people. She can not resolve any issues and you are typically referred back to the nonresponsive owner. There is no assistant director, so ultimately, there is nobody actually running the place. They are constantly short staffed and over ratio in the classrooms. Many of the teachers are aggressive and abusive and the owner allows it. Any given day you can walk by the classroom windows and hear the teachers screaming at the children. There have been multiple reports of physical abuse on one teacher in particular yet she is still employed and working with the young children. The children's safety and care seems to be low on their priority list. They have had multiple teachers (including all three infant room teachers) quit recently to move to another school due to the lack of management and care at the facility. 10 out of 10 do not recommend sending your children here.
