You'd think that at a place with prices as high as they are that their colorists could manage a simple root touch up. Especially with someone who has no history of using box dye, and who brought plenty of inspiration pictures as well as specific instructions from the hairstylist who initially dyed their hair (who sadly lives in another state.) But no. Let me also just say before I begin- I'm a gen z college student who works in customer service so it takes A LOT for me to not hide from conflict. After being rebooked multiple times I came in for a simple root touch up. I had copper hair that was fading and roots that had grown out so I showed all my pictures and explained I wanted a simple touch up and brightening of the ends just to get that copper to stand out again. When I left my hair was like 4 shades darker than when I walked in, my roots where 2 different colors, neither of which were the same color as the ends, and my hair was no longer red but dark brown. Obviously I was incredibly upset as my hair was unblended and 3 different colors, none of which were the color I asked for, but I decided to give them a chance to make it right. I came back the next day (with specific suggestions from the hairstylist in MA that I trust) and was told she couldn't do what I asked. She offered highlights instead. I explained that I do not want highlights, I want my color corrected and she said she didn't feel comfortable doing what I asked. Since I have zero faith in their abilities I left and called to get a refund since the service they provided wouldn't have met anyone's expectations- if I had lied about what I've done with my hair (like if I had used box dye) or been unclear about what I wanted or maybe even JUST gotten the wrong shade but my hair was all one color maybe I could understand them not being willing to refund me. But my hair is 3 DIFFERENT COLORS and I'm pretty sure NO ONE wants that. They still have not given me a refund.
