I have used this veterinarian several times but on July 21,2021 is the last time I will use or recommend to any one. My experience with prior vets was much better… I have always been cautious when using any veterinarian because in the past I worked for a hospital very similar to this one…. They take advantage of a person who is very emotional and would do anything to save their furbaby even at the expense of lying and bad mouthing our other veterinarian who actually had told us the truth about Tilas prognosis. Dr. Hinson on the other hand had us spend $500 and told us our girl was fine and had years left. She put her on a medication that accelerated her problem and she died on her birthday July 25, 2021. I tried to call the hospital to speak to Dr. Hinson and was given one excuse after another and was told she would call back…. Well after waiting a week I went to the hospital and in my despair and in tears….. I waited almost an hour for her to show her face only after she had reception make sure I wasn’t there to be violent. Well, good ol Dr. Hinson showed her face with not a bit of remorse and a bunch of contradictory nonsense to what she told us a few days earlier. When I asked if the meds she prescribed accelerated my baby’s condition she said “it may have , I can’t say that it didn’t “
Well with that bit of information and some research …. It’s exactly what put her over the edge.
Not even a condolence card or an offer to remove any of the charges … not even for the meds that killed her or ear drops she never used.
I am filing complaints with BBB and everywhere else that I can….. I know this won’t bring Tila back but it will be in her honor. Because of Dr. Hinson her last few days were suffering which could have been avoided if she was honest.
