Review content:
I came to The Center because I was desperate for help. I have battled with depression, eating disorders, and anxiety most of my life. I also struggled daily with suicidal thoughts. I knew that The Center would not be a cure; however, I needed it to be a stepping stone to propel me into the next phase of recovery and get me closer to living a life where I can feel free. The incredible staff at The Center, especially France, helped restore some hope in me. I still have a long journey ahead, but now, I feel like I have more tools to get to where I want to be. The relationships I have made with other clients here will always hold a special place in my heart, too. Coming to a place where you are surrounded by so many people who understand you is incredibly healing, but to also have the support of such caring, compassionate counselors made this experience pretty amazing. I am not cured, but I am walking out of here knowing that it is possible that change is possible...that I can continue to work toward a life where I feel free and can truly be me.
