Beyond Horrible Pet Insurance! If zero stars was an option I would give them zero stars! They don't even deserve one star. Total rip off, in my book complete thieves! They refused to pay for my claim because they state that a symptom which hadn't had a diagnosis because no vet had come up with one was considered pre-existing. So basically if the dog sneezes and you take them to a vet then later do a claim for that visit they refuse to pay for the claim stating to me that the symptom is pre-existing! Also takes them close to 45 minutes to get a rep on the phone. They also made me send them a bunch of vet notes called SOAP to be denied later because in my case the vet was still trying to figure out what was wrong with my dog and why she was getting diarrhea. It honestly seemed from the many request for the same notes and x-rays that they were digging to try and find an excuse not to pay for the claim. Stay far, far, away from this company get Nationwide pet insurance instead or at least do extensive research on any other company but from my past experience at least Nationwide paid their claims but they are a bit more expensive hence why I got the crap I’m reviewing now. Pets Best Insurance made me feel like if I was trying to take advantage of them after I called them to ask them why they denied my claim. Yeah the representative I spoke with made me feel like if I was trying to rip them off! I have never been so ill treated by a company like this one. Hope this helps someone never pay them one red cent they are truly the definition of horrendous service!
