You will hear the siren song of great returns and safety of principal. You will be told by the agent that these practically never go past their prepaid premiums, but you will find otherwise. Note there tend to be great reviews and terrible ones. Why might that be other than an initial manipulation followed by true experiences coming later? I have yet to see a "maturity" in 10 purchased positions but I am out thousands every year in premium calls and fees. Other reviewers on this and other sites including lately BBB are saying the same thing, despite a few older glowing reviews that I was sucked in by. This is only possible if the agent was not telling the truth. As of now, I have no real evidence there even are any "insureds", not having seen a payout, not knowing anyone who has, and getting only thousands in fees and premium demands. The last one was received today (the 28th) having been mailed by Reliant on the 20th. I was advised that my position on one of 10 will be forfeit if a payment of nearly $1000 on a $10,000 position with a return of $4000 (half of which is already eaten by premium calls) is not somehow received on the 31st...a SUNDAY. This is shaping up to be far less an investment than a con job.
