I would like to say that I have never encountered better customer service and more dedication to EXCEED customer satisfaction than what we experienced with Captain Ken and his employees at Bayside Boat and Tackle. They were phenomenal!!! We rented a pontoon boat from them in support of our kids' "Row For Hope" event whereby 11 McQuaid Jesuit High School members of the crew team rowed from Buffalo to Albany on the Erie Canal in 8 days. This was a fundraising to help out Rochester's House of Mercy for the homeless and the boys were successful in their efforts to raise a LOT of money for the cause. I would like to add that this would NOT have been possible at all without the help of Captain Ken Strimple and his staff at Bayside Boat and Tackle. First of all, Ken donated a percent of the overall rental fee, which we did not expect but were extremely grateful to receive. His crew TRAILERED the pontoon boat, at no cost, to Buffalo and got it in the water and, to top it off, they trailered it BACK to Rochester from our destination site in Albany, at no cost to us. I have no idea how we could have done this without their help. This gracious act of kindness epitomizes the quality of care this group pays to its customers. Ken was a GODSEND to our efforts. His boat was fully outfitted with everything we needed. It never failed to start, was extremely easy to maneuver through the canal and its locks, and provided a save and comfortable haven for the boys who were rotating through efforts to row the crew skull. We look forward to continuing our connections with Ken and Bayside through Row For Hope 2020 and anticipate another rewarding and SAFE experience. I highly recommend Bayside for all of your boat/tackle needs. Please trust me that you can expect nothing but the highest of quality in their customer service and their associated products. Way to go, Captain Ken!!! The boys and families of McQuaid's Row For Hope Team and the homeless people and administration of the House of Mercy SALUTE YOU!!!!
