I don't know what has happened but the Valley Thrift Store has changed. It used to be a great place to hunt for bargains. But over the last 6-8 months at least, the pricing is pretty much out of control, everything is expensive. People go to thrift stores for bargains, not to pay $10 for a popcorn maker with a missing part. Or $35 for a Coach purse with a huge burn on the front. I have a hundred examples of overpriced stuff. .. I'm not saying give things away but be reasonable. Every time I go in people are complaining about the prices, so I know it's not just me. Also on discount Mondays it was always hard to get a parking spot & the lines at check out were very long. Not any more. I am about to stop going there because I feel they have gotten greedy. Most used items are priced higher than what one can buy new at Target or Walmart!
