Review content:
Would Not recommend. We chose company based on 5-star reviews. Greg Kangas presented a good deal for renovating garage flooring/family room. What we received was poor quality work & a disorganized company attempting to hurry us through a shoddy process of unfinished work. We were told 7-10 days for the project & arranged work schedules best we could. We had 5 ½ weeks of subcontractors showing up unannounced or not showing up at all. We frequently called/emailed Greg to direct this charade of incomplete work & no shows. This is why we hired him so we would not have this issue. As for the quality, uneven sheet rocking in family room and adjoining wall to garage. Tape & mud from sheet rocking was very rough. Hole was left in wall after a propane pipe removed, needed to remind company to repair after we received bill. Trim work is not secure, we can now remove most of our trim work by hand. Propane pipe now sticking out of garage wall 2 feet and capped. Contractors did not clean up after carpet installed, paint/drywall mud on tile, windows & other unaffected walls. Contractors also were loitering/wandering around our property near outbuildings & far from work site discarding cigarettes in gardens & on driveway. Concrete truck drove over/damaged irrigation system, garden & small pine tree leaving the yard. After receiving bill & the work was still incomplete, Greg Kangas suggested some patch work to wrap things up. We asked that he come & do a walk-through of the project. He was shown the work his contractors did, & did not yet do, presented our concerns to him again. He offered to deduct 0.01% from our bill. Highly recommend checking your itemized quote & comparing to the work that was “Actually” done. On the positive side. The Contractors that did the concrete flooring work in the garage did an amazing job!!!
