Normally, I would contact my Service Adviser to schedule an oil change. I was informed that they no longer accept appointments for oil changes and to just come in through the "Express Lane." I inquired how long the "Express Lane" would take and was informed it would take 1 hour to possibly an hour and a half. I live in Pearland, work in the Galleria Area, have 3 children, and a baby who is home bound and not supposed to leave the house per his Dr recommendations. I make arrangements to get my brand new vehicle to the dealership for their "Express Lane" oil change. At this point I am already frustrated and stressing... My Husband arrived at the dealership at 8:00 am prompt and then had to sit at the dealership for 3 HOURS!!!! 3 HOURS for an oil change? An "Express Lane" oil change? NO SIR! I do not think so. I am so COMPLETELY disappointed with the changes that have been made to the service department. Over the last 15 years I have only bought my brand new vehicles from Ron Carter - Alvin and have always had them serviced there as well... Naturally I have become friendly with some of the Service Advisers as well; one of which I was sad to see through his treatments at an attempt to get better and then his passing. With that, I will be locating a new dealership to have my vehicle serviced at and one in which I hope to find that had the similar treatments and courtesy that Ron Carter used to have.
