Review content:
I called Bright Now Dental and made an appointment for an assessment including x-rays. I was told by the dentist, who never introduced himself, that he wasn't happy with five fillings and that he would need to do a deep cleaning and replace five fillings that were fine as far as I know. After the assessment they send you to the financial representative to discuss financing. She said that it would cost $873.00 and that I could apply for a credit card with 0% interest for 12 months. So I was approved for the card and called to make an appointment. They made two appointments to do 2 fillings and a deep clean on the left side and three fillings and a deep clean on the right side. I received two email confirmations, one of which was the wrong time. On Monday I had two fillings replaced and a deep clean on the left. I was satisfied although I don't know why the fillings needed replaced. I went in on Wed. at the time that was confirmed and was informed that I was supposed to be there at 1:00 not 2:20. I told them that I confirmed the email at 2:20. They neglected to send one for 1:00 so I had to reschedule the cleaning for the following Friday. I had the three fillings replaced and was immediately told that I may need a root canal on one of the teeth. He said that the nerve was very close to the filling and I had a 50/50 chance of needing a root canal. I went in for the cleaning on Friday and it went as well as expected. For a week I have experienced severe pain from the tooth that he said may need a root canal so I called after a week of experiencing pain. I was then told that a root canal would cost me an additional $909.00, more than all the work I had done in three days the previous week. You will not convince me that this is not how they make their money. So I simply said, I can't afford that and hung up. I will make an appointment with a dentist who is not part of a chain dentistry and have the root canal. They will not receive another penny from me and I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for dental service
