I read all these reviews and absolutely do not agree with alot of the comments. I rode with Slocums for years as a teen and found a love for horses and learned a great deal. Never did I see a hurt horse that wasn't cared for or if needed see by a vet. Horses where shoed REGULARLY and if they needed shoes they weren't ridden. I saw so many neglected and abused horses they took in and nursed back to health with love, food, medication, etc. Is April a little rough around the edges yes, but if she yells at you theirs usually a good reason. As far as a baby making factory that is crap and so far from the truth, I won't even go there. The bread isn't covered in mold and if it was it was discarded, she is not the only person who feeds DAY OLD bread (not weeks old).
