Businiess name:  Peter Levi Plumbing Heating & Cooling

Review content:
We called Peter Levi for a water heater problem. a tech came out and found the gas valve needed to be replaced. 2 days later the water heater would not stay lit once again. Another tech came out and said the only thing to do would be to replace the water heater. Ours was only 9 years old. Levi wanted 2400 dollars to replace the heater. The new water heater costs 600 dollars meaning that Levi would charge me 1800 for a couple of hours work to replace the unit. I called a friend who came out and looked at the heater. He said would you be willing to spend 40 or 50 bucks to see if we can get this thing running again. Of course I said OK. 2 hours later we had hot water and no problems since. There was a problem with the fusible link in the thermo couple. Repaired in half an hour. If the techs did not see this then Peter Levi needs to send them back to school before sending them out to assist customers. Or they are told "just talk them into a new one". I don't know
